That is our central, enduring message to all customers, employees, competitors, and stakeholders in the United States Postal Service.  That message serves as the basis of our corporate identity.

 

Our corporate identity, which projects the revitalization of the United States Postal Service, represents one of our most valuable corporate assets.  Supporting our corporate identity initiative is critical to demonstrating our commitment to quality and standardization - to convincing the public that We Mean Business.  This message must be conveyed in all our daily activities and communications.

 

We Mean Business must, however, be more than a catchphrase.  Our corporate identity represents our organization, our employees, and our products and services.  It symbolizes the best of the United States Postal Service.  Together with our Purpose, Vision, and Guiding Principles, our corporate identity communicates our unique mission, our distinctive personality, and our singular voice.

 

Consistency in the representation of our corporate identity - especially our corporate signature - is the cornerstone of our communications message.  Our corporate identity projects to all key audiences an efficient and businesslike United State Postal Service.  It is the best way to say We Mean Business every time someone sees our stationery, signage, facilities, or vehicles.  Whatever the medium, our message must be constant and consistent.

 

To make all United States Postal Service communications more compelling and more effective, your help is needed.  All our communications must adopt a consistent identity and strictly apply it according to our guidelines.  Working together, we can use our corporate identity to demonstrate that We Mean Business.

 

All applications of the corporate signature must be submitted to the Manager of Brand Management for review and proper approval.
